Long term friend and former colleague Robert Scoble (who’s now with Rackspace) came by to interview the Altimeter Group. Although Deborah Schultz and Charlene Li were off traveling the globe, Ray Wang (who covers enterprise strategy) and myself were able to sit down with Robert and discuss the trends we see happening in the industry. Big wave to Rocky who’s the show producer, and also a former colleague.

Very good overview of 2010 trends for enterprise, mobile, and video. I liked the iPhone App versus web page strategy discussion where there is a pro and con informed debate. I would like to see and hear more about with Android included in the mix with next technologies like Google Goggles and the other Augmented Reality ventures out there. Also, can you discuss the merits of visual search as a possible emerging market.
