I&#8217;ve started this post series (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.web-strategist.com\/blog\/category\/on-the-move\/\">see archives<\/a>) to both track and congratulate folks who get promoted, move, or accept new exciting positions. Please help me congratulate the following folks:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Kevin Marks, famed Google employee <a href=\"http:\/\/www.marketwire.com\/press-release\/Ribbit-1026747.html\">has now joined Ribbit as VP of Web Services<\/a>.  Kevin was the former CTO of Technorati, has championed the open web, and can <a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/kevinmarks\">also be found on Twitter at @kevinmarks<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.jivesoftware.com\/jivespace\/community\/jivetalks\/blog\/2009\/05\/19\/ben-kiker-joins-as-jives-cmo\">Ben Kiker joins Jive as the new CMO<\/a>.  I was able to meet Ben yesterday, his strong enterprise background is consistent with the direction Jive continues to head, you can also <a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/benkiker\">find him on Twitter<\/a> @benkiker.<\/li>\n<li>Congrats to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kenburbary.com\/2009\/07\/my-new-gig\/\">Ken Burbary of Ernst and Young<\/a>, who is leading some of the social charge by heading up the Web Strategy &amp; Social Media practice within Ernst &amp; Young Advisory services, <a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/kenburbary\">he&#8217;s @kenburbary on Twitter<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Long time reader <a href=\"http:\/\/geekmommy.net\/2009\/06\/22\/my-new-gig\/\">Lucretia Pruitt is now Director of Social Media for Collective Bias<\/a> \u2013 a company that grew out of MARS Advertising, we&#8217;re all very excited for her.
