Popart?  Brand Mashup?  A case study in a jpg?  You be the judge.<\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;re not familiar with how these two brands are related, read the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.web-strategist.com\/blog\/2008\/12\/04\/how-motrin-should-respond-to-the-groundswell\/\">Motrin Moms backstory<\/a> (they have recently removed the apology from the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.motrin.com\/\">corporate homepage<\/a>), and the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.web-strategist.com\/blog\/2008\/12\/14\/understanding-izeas-sponsored-blogging-service\/\">Kmart sponsored post<\/a> story.  <\/p>\n<p>In reality, when these debacles happen, they are actually brand opportunities.  <a href=\"http:\/\/www.web-strategist.com\/blog\/2008\/05\/02\/a-chonology-of-brands-that-got-punkd-by-social-media\/\">several of the companies on my punk&#8217;d list<\/a> have been able to turn this to their advantage.<\/p>\n<p>Update: I just learned that <a href=\"http:\/\/www.g4tv.com\/thefeed\/blog\/post\/691901\/Burger_King_Serves_Cease_and_Desist_Notice_Via_Twitter.html\">Burger King has served a &#8216;cease and desist&#8217; by tweeting<\/a> for someone creating the &#8216;whoppervirgins&#8217; account.
