{"id":2186,"date":"2008-01-15T12:44:11","date_gmt":"2008-01-15T19:44:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.web-strategist.com\/blog\/2008\/01\/15\/the-irrelevant-corporate-website-now-in-hebrew\/"},"modified":"2008-01-15T12:49:43","modified_gmt":"2008-01-15T19:49:43","slug":"the-irrelevant-corporate-website-now-in-hebrew","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/web-strategist.com\/blog\/2008\/01\/15\/the-irrelevant-corporate-website-now-in-hebrew\/","title":{"rendered":"The &#8220;Irrelevant Corporate Website&#8221; now in Hebrew (and how to translate websites)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>When I first wrote the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.web-strategist.com\/blog\/2007\/05\/29\/web-strategy-how-to-evolve-your-irrelevant-corporate-website\/\">Irrelevant Corporate Website<\/a>, I never expected it to grow and spread, it&#8217;s now been translated into several languages, <a href=\"http:\/\/brainwasher.pixelme.info\/?p=199\">the most recent one in Hebrew<\/a>, thanks to Omer Rosen who lives in, Rishon Lezion, Israel<\/p>\n<p>My colleague Charlene Li recently showed me the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.google.com\/language_tools\">Google Translator tools<\/a> that can do more than babelfish as it can translated an entire webpage, and maintain the look and feel.  Enter in a URL, and watch it translated.  Here&#8217;s a few examples of my post being translated by Google from <a href=\"http:\/\/64.233.179.104\/translate_c?hl=en&#038;langpair=de%7Cen&#038;u=http:\/\/www.team-success.de\/blog\/2007-06-13\/warum-traditionelle-corporate-websites-irrelevant-werden\/\">German to English<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/translate.google.com\/translate?u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nylon.gr%2F%3Fp%3D1180&#038;langpair=el%7Cen&#038;hl=en&#038;ie=UTF8\">Greek to English<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/translate.google.com\/translate?u=http%3A%2F%2Fmarcobandini.blogspot.com%2F2007%2F07%2Fweb-strategy-how-to-evolve-your.html&#038;langpair=it%7Cen&#038;hl=en&#038;ie=UTF8\">Italian to English<\/a>.
