As such, companies that manufacture social media input and output services provide me with demo units to try.<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nHere are my guidelines:<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>1) I will disclose when they are provided by a company that I am testing, likely I will point to this page.<br \/>\n2) I will not keep these products, but instead give them away when I&#8217;ve completed testing.<br \/>\n3) Abide by the ethical guidelines <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ftc.gov\/opa\/2009\/10\/endortest.shtm\">set forth by the FTC<\/a>.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Current Product Reviews<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>Flip HD <\/strong><br \/>\nCurrently experimenting with, provided by Cisco, owners of Flip.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>Former review products I no longer own:<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>Jambox (given away)<\/strong><br \/>\nTested then gave it away, \u00a0I liked it so much I bought my own with my own money<\/p>\n<p><strong>N95 (2008) <\/strong><br \/>\nDisabled, giving away, I&#8217;ve found someone to give it to, but have just not had enough time to do so.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Nespresso Machine<\/strong><br \/>\nI&#8217;ve found someone to give this to, will do so by Feb 20th, 2010, like it so much, I bought my own<\/p>\n<p><strong>Brunton Solar Charger and External Battery<br \/>\n<span style=\"font-weight: normal;\">I&#8217;ve given this to a child of a colleague<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>N810 Wifi Tablet<\/strong><br \/>\nBlog contest: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.web-strategist.com\/blog\/web-strategy-vault\/the-twitter-wish-list\/nokia-n810-giveaway\/\">sent to Andrew Finkle<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Flip Video Camera <\/strong><br \/>\nFrom MySpace, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.web-strategist.com\/blog\/2008\/08\/10\/video-groundswell-on-will-it-blend\/\">which I gave to Josh Bernoff who ground it up into a pile of dust (see video)<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Nokia N95<\/strong><br \/>\nFrom fellow analyst who received from Nokia: Gave away to John W in San Mateo<\/p>\n<p><strong>Chumby<\/strong><br \/>\nCurrently reviewing, from Chumby Corporation: Gave to Zach Hofer-Shall, mobile researcher at Forrester Research<\/p>\n<p><strong>iPod Touch<\/strong><br \/>\nCurrently reviewing from mDialog, no longer own.  (stolen actually)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Zune<\/strong><br \/>\nGiven away.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Tchotchkes, Books, and Events<\/strong><br \/>\nCompanies frequently send me all kinds of items (with my permission and sometimes without) such as tchotchkes (pens, brochures, t-shirts) books, christmas cards, and invite me to their events. I often wear the cool T-shirts, read and flickr the books, smile at the cards, and go to their events.
